Public Relations Officer

NAC is pleased to announce the appointment of Grace Nyenyezi Khombe as a
new Public Relations Officer (PRO) effective 2nd June 2025.

Grace Nyenyezi Khombe is a Chevening scholar with a Master of Science in
Communication for Development -C4D obtained at the University of Reading in the United Kingdom. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Communications and
Cultural Studies from the University of Malawi. Grace brings in to the Commission a vast media experience having worked as a Broadcasting Journalist with the World’s leading Broadcaster, the BBC World Services – Focus on Africa. Besides, Grace won over 30 local and international media awards whilst working with Malawi’s leading private media organization, Zodiak Broadcasting Station – ZBS.

In addition, Grace has worked with the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization-FAO as a Communications Specialist intern in Rome, Italy and later as a volunteer for the YenKasa Africa initiative. Furthermore, Grace has vast communication experience in humanitarian and emergency sector. She’s a trained Women in News and Leadership Accelerator program facilitated by the World Association of News Publishers-WAN-IFRA.
